Currently we are recruiting for the following positions:
Vice President: Highways/Bridges - APPLY -
The position requires minimum; BS degree in Civil Engineering plus 15 years of proven hands-on design experience in highways/bridges, 5 years as Project Manager. Prior experience with NYSDOT projects and NY P.E. required. This is a highly visible position, requires strong management/organizational/communication skills, ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships.

Must be motivated, driven and committed to enhance the image of the firm as well as of the team.

For individual with the right credentials, in addition to salary, signing bonus, profit sharing, 401K, the position offers an opportunity for stock ownership and charting the future.
Bridge Engineer, P.E. - APPLY -
BS/MS Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 7-10 yrs. hands-on experience in design and/or inspection of bridges. Strong analytical skills and use of structural softwares such as STAAD desired. NYS P.E. or ability to obtain within 6 months a must.
Structural Engineer (Buildings) - APPLY -
Minimum BS/MS with major in structures plus 8-10 years of hands-on experience in designing concrete, steel, pre-stress/post tension structures involving: institutional, (schools, hospitals, housing), intermodal transportation and specialty structures.

Knowledge of computer softwares such as STADD and National/NYS Building Codes required. Motivated, self starter, ability to lead a team of Engineers and ability to maintain effective communications with clients.

Traffic Engineer/Planner - APPLY -
Position requires minimum of 5-7 years of experience in: Planning and preparation of Traffic Impact studies, accident analysis, traffic analysis, simulation softwares, Trans Cad, signal design, corridor studies, network analysis, ITS, etc.
Network & Systems Administrator - APPLY -
Position requires experience troubleshooting and supporting a Windows XP and Small Business Server 2003 environment. Exchange, PPTP (VPN), Office 2003 and basic Linux skills required.
Surveyor: Field - APPLY -
Position requires a minimum of 2 year degree in Surveying/Civil Engineering with emphasis in surveying technology plus 3-5 years experience in the field utilizing latest state of the art technology electronic equipments, i.e. EDM, Total Stations and establishing 2nd order horizontal and vertical controls; knowledgeable of surveying softwares; use of GPS/RTK including planning mission and data analysis.

Accurate; willing to travel within the state; team player, positive attitude and willingness to contribute.
Construction Inspectors - APPLY -
NICET II/III/IV with NYSDOT/NYSTA experience only. Experience requirements for various levels are:

NICET II AAS + 3-5 years exp.
NICET III AAS + 7-10 years exp.
NICET IV AAS + over 10 years exp.

ACI and Work Zone Safety training required. NYSDOT retirees preferred.
Positions available in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany
CADD Technician - APPLY -
Requires high school/AAS degree and minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in CADD with emphasis in surveying and/or civil site design. Must be proficient in Microstation. Experience with InRoads and 3-D modeling preferred.
Marketing Coordinator - APPLY -
Design of marketing materials such as flyers, brochures; technical proposals for professional services, personnel resumes; maintaining Access database for projects; assisting in office and other tasks that may be assigned. Prior experience in professional environment very desirable. Position requires:

  • Proficient in office and publishing softwares such as Windows XP, MS Word, Excel and Access, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.

Accounting / Bookkeeper - APPLY -
This position requires a minimum AAS/BS in accounting with 5-10 years of experience.
Manage full financial accounting (cash/accrual basis) for small to mid size firm ( $ 5-10 million) firm. This is a full charge position , be able to work independently and have experience with the following:
  • Payroll and Related Tax Payments
  • Quarterly annual Payroll Tax Reporting
  • Job Costing
  • Accounts receivable/payable
  • Depreciation Schedules
  • Bank and Credit Card Statement reconciliation
  • Client Invoicing
  • General Ledger
  • Trial Balance & Adjustments
  • Monthly/quarterly/annual close out
  • Quarterly and Annual financials; cash as well as accruals
  • Knowledge of HR and Benefits Administration desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of Peachtree Accounting Software helpfull
