EPA Enforcement & Compliance Audit Program
The US EPA announced a new Compliance & Enforcement Initiative Policy that targets Public Works and other transportation related facilities and has begun inspecting sites to determine if they are in compliance with environmental regulations. Fines for discovered violations can be expensive and accompanied by unfavorable press releases based on enforcement actions.
We recommend participation in the Compliance-Audit program.
