Vice President: Highways/Bridges
The position requires minimum; BS degree in Civil Engineering plus 15 years of proven hands-on design experience in highways/bridges, 5 years as Project Manager. Prior experience with NYSDOT projects and NY P.E. required. This is a highly visible position, requires strong management/organizational/communication skills, ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships.
Must be motivated, driven and committed to enhance the image of the firm as well as of the team.

Bridge Engineer, P.E.
BS/MS Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 7-10 yrs. hands-on experience in design and/or inspection of bridges. Strong analytical skills and use of structural softwares such as STAAD desired. NYS P.E. or ability to obtain within 6 months a must.

Structural Engineer (Buildings)
Minimum BS/MS with major in structures plus 8-10 years of hands-on experience in designing concrete, steel, pre-stress/post tension structures involving: institutional, (schools, hospitals, housing), intermodal transportation and specialty structures.
Knowledge of computer softwares such as STADD and National/NYS Building Codes required. Motivated, self starter, ability to lead a team of Engineers and ability to maintain effective communications with clients.

Manager, Construction Inspection Services
Popli Design Group is seeking a Manager of Construction Inspection Services to oversee all construction inspection projects in various regions/divisions of NYDOT/NYSTA and etc. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience as Project/Resident Engineer, Chief Inspector, and/or and Office Engineer.
- 10 – 15 years of responsible, hands-on field inspection experience on highway and bridge related projects
- Effective communication with field personnel and client project managers
- NICET IV Certification, PE desirable
- NYSDOT specifications
- MURK Manual
- CEEs Program/Site Manager
- Primavera, CPM Scheduling, SureTrac desirable
- Travel
Salary/benefits commensurate with qualifications/experience.
Construction Inspectors
NICET II/III/IV with NYSDOT/NYSTA experience only. Experience requirements for various levels are:
NICET II AAS + 3-5 years exp.
NICET III AAS + 7-10 years exp.
NICET IV AAS + over 10 years exp.
ACI and Work Zone Safety training required. NYSDOT retirees preferred.

Highway Construction Inspection Trainee
Two (2) full-time entry level Trainee Positions as Highway Construction Inspector is available for qualified individuals interested in highway construction inspection. Resumes will be accepted immediately.
One trainee position is located in New York State Department of Transportation Region 5 (Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara Counties).
One trainee position is located in New York State Department of Transportation Region 6 (Allegany, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and Yates Counties).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED with math background and must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
DESIRED QUALITIES:
