Grand Opening of Bubble Fusion

Located at 200 East Avenue in the City of Rochester, Bubble Fusion is a sushi, tea, and desserts café. PDG provided architectural, electrical, and plumbing design services as well as fire protection evaluation for the project.

The project involved design and construction administration of the café, respectfully converting a historic 1930's space designated an interior landmark by the City of Rochester. The design features a stylized service counter from which sushi and tea is prepared and served, as well as a high-chair dining bar. Special attention was paid to present a distinct but muted aesthetic which did not clash with the existing space's lively Commerical Moderne identity, extant from the space's original use as a car dealership.
