PDG has been the Prime Consultant on five biennial bridge inspection contracts for NYSDOT Region 4. We were responsible for the project management, coordination, field inspection, quality control, and load rating for various types of local and state bridges during each two-year contract in Region 4, Rochester, which includes Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Wayne, and Wyoming Counties.

Our most recent contract (2014 - 2015) involved 1,094 bridges. Prominent bridges inspected during that contract include:

• Interstate 390 over Genesee River: Twin 2,000’, 11-span Segmental Box Girder Bridges

• O’Rorke Bridge over Genesee River: 920’ Bascule Bridge

• Smith Street Bridge over Genesee River: 916’, 3-span Steel Continuous Deck Truss

• Driving Park Bridge over Genesee River: 708’ Steel Deck Arch

• Veterans Memorial Bridge over Genesee River: 972’, 7-span Concrete Deck Arch

• Court Street Bridge over Genesee River: 516’, 8-span Masonry Deck Arch

• Subway Tunnel: 4,752’, 198-span Concrete Slab Tunnel
