2025 Canstruction Rochester

Congratulations to our talented Canstruction team on their win last night! "Lego Spaceman: The Final CAN-tier" was selected for the “People’s Choice Award” at the Canstruction Rochester Awards Banquet.

The theme for this year was Cosmic Conquest: Rise of the Cans. The PDG team created LEGO Spaceman: The Final CAN-tier using approximately 1,500 cans. Blasting off from Planet Pantry, this Spaceman isn’t just space-bound; he’s SOUPer committed to exploration! Outfitted in a retro-futuristic suit made from repurposed soup cans, he's the ultimate mix of astronaut and intergalactic tin man with a mission, ready to conquer the cosmos... one canned good at a time. This hero doesn't just explore the galaxy; he stocks it, shelf by shelf.

Visit The Strong National Museum of Play to see our sculpture through October 25th, before the food is donated to Foodlink.
